Hebrews 11:15, 1 John 3:1

In the previous article, we have shared the first way we can engage our minds with faith. So, you can refer to the first article here.

The second way is that WE SHOULD LISTEN TO WHAT GOD CALLS us. The bible says that the Love God has for us is to make us Children. This is great! I was pondering on the extent of the Father's love. And I thought in myself that God could have had charitable compassion on us and have pitied our plight, such that he could have come to save us from Hell without calling us, children. If He only came to deliver us from the hands of the oppressor, then I think we would still be eternally grateful to Him. Isn't it? But our God did much more for us. He delivered us from the hands of the oppressor and make us His own. He now refers to us as His children.

In 2 Corinthians 6:18, the father refers to us as His Son; In Hebrews 2:11, Jesus refers to us as His brother; in Romans 8:16, the Holy Spirit testifies that we are God’s Children. The Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit always bring to our consciousness that we are children of God – we are God’s own.
 
The question is: Who do you listen to? And how is your heart responding to the truth that we are God’s Children? Have we sat down to give it a thought what it means to be a child of God? Our heart will not be impacted with Faith when we don’t focus our heart to receive God’s call. This is why we always think sensually and start blaming the government, our family background, etc. We are so concerned about what society has labeled us and many times, it has taken sleep from us, and brought us into intimidation, fear, and anxiety. But I am here to tell you that if you have put faith in what Jesus has done, then the Holy Spirit is currently informing you that you are God’s son. Just listen to His voice, and it will automatically shut down every other thought.

Folks, I want us to start listening to the witness of the Holy Spirit. For God to come to save us is great and glorious, but to make us as His Son is mind-blowing and breathtaking. The greatness of God's love is shown that, by it, we should be called His children. In this, we gained something greater than Adam ever possessed. There is no how a person will always ponder on this truth that such will be comfortable with any other thoughts that contradict the testimony of our Son-ship. 

Friends, start engaging your thought and occupying your heart with the witness from the trinity that we are children of God.
