By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only-begotten son. Hebrews 11:17 

 

In the previous article, I shared that God does not expect to trip, fall, or falter because He sees us through, Christ. Can Jesus fall or fail? When Jesus was here below, He didn't fall or falter, how much more, now that is glorified. Therefore, God has so much confidence in us because of our faith in Christ

 

1 Corinthians 10:13

The Bible makes us understand that God is faithful, and will not allow you to be tempted beyond your ability. Whenever we talk about God being faithful, then we are saying God is the one that will always come through for us. 

 

Thus, the Apostle must remind us of God's faithfulness so that the next phrase can make great sense to us. God will not make you pass through the temptation beyond your ability. Someone once asked me, “how do I know my capacity so that I can know the level of temptation I am to expect?” I have also heard another person say, “well, I think what I am passing through is beyond my capacity” I responded, “Nope! I don't believe you, but I believe the word of God. If you're a child of God, then there’s nothing you are passing through that is greater than you.” This draws us again to the fact that God is seeing us in Christ. Therefore, Christ-life is our ability! This is how God sees us, and this is how we must begin to see ourselves.

 

Although when a believer does not recognize that Jesus' ability is his, instead, he feels his prayer life is his ability; what he does or doesn't do is his ability, then such believer will always be overwhelmed by what he is passing through.

 

Prayer is essential, and in fact, it is compulsory and mandatory for every believer that desires to have an intimate relationship with Christ. So, also the studying and receiving of God's word. But as great as these are, they are not in themselves the source of your ability. They are great and wonderful tools we are blessed with so that we can realize our potential and ability in Christ. CHRIST LIFE IS OUR ABILITY.

 

Friends, The world, and the devil are roaring at us every day, and the effect of the fall is gathering against us. So, If you don't know what God has blessed us with—the life of Christ; if you don't know the joy, peace, grace, and love of God for you is CHRIST and Him alone, then you will be subjugated by the enemy’s rant, roar, and deceit.

 

When we look at the world, it is in a chaotic situation, especially in this part of the world where almost everything is in disarray. I want you to know that all these are caused by the devil because men have put themselves under His control. And I believe the reason he is doing all these are because he doesn't want the world to be stable and settle to receive the good news of Christ's redemption. He knows that the end-time harvest is gathering, and our complete salvation experience draws near. So, he must have understood that at such a time like this, numerous harvests will be won. Therefore, he won't allow the world to rest (Revealations 12:12).

 

Do you know what I see? I see harvest… I see victory… I see Jesus being spread around the world like never. Believers! The end-time army is gathering, so we must not be disturbed or distracted by what the devil is doing. We will need to consistently walk in faith and not by sight. Hallelujah!

 

We need to know that God is not a wicked father who sees what will claim the life of His children, and yet, He will say ‘Oya’ go through it. Not at all! That does not correspond to the God of Love. So then let me ask, “have you found anything that can claim the life of CHRIST or extinguish it?” Friends, we have been blessed with God's own life. This is why God is so confident in us that nothing can defeat the life of Christ.

 

Believers, God has so much confidence in you because of the life you have in Christ. That’s why He trusts us so much that whatever we may be passing through, we will come out unhurt while reminding the devil of His defeat on the cross. 

 

God is confident that you will walk in His victory because of the victorious life of Christ we have. It is now down to us if we will relate with Him by Faith in Christ and what He has done.
