Fruit of the Spirit 23 (Love bears all things 2)

In the preceding article, we delved into the dimension of love encapsulated by the phrase "Love bears all things." Continuing on this trajectory in today's article, we explore how this enduring love is a testament to the magnitude of God's love within our hearts.

We began by examining the process of enlarging our hearts to accommodate the infinite magnitude of God's love, enabling us to bear with all men and all things.

A question was posed to me: "Is it possible to bear with all things?" My response was a confident "YES." Emphasizing that if it were not possible, the Bible would not have documented it.

It's essential to recognize that whatever is true about Christ is true about us. This truth extends beyond what Jesus possesses; it also encompasses what Jesus can do. Jesus, indeed, bears with all things, including our failures, mistakes, and nonchalance.

When acknowledging that what is true about Christ is also true about us, it's not solely in the light of Jesus' possessions but also in the context of His actions. If Jesus loves infinitely, it holds true for us, and we should walk in that dimension.
Moreover, it's not just about possessing what Jesus has but also about emulating His actions. As Jesus bears with us, irrespective of our deeds, we too can walk in that dimension by the grace of God.

To achieve the ability to bear with all things, one must cultivate a heart large enough to accommodate God's love, as highlighted in Ephesians 3:17-19.

The four dimensions of the Saviour's love:
Breadth - Christ's Worldwide love, embracing all men.
Length - Christ’s Love extended to all ages
Height - Christ's love transcends beyond the reach of any foe that can deprive us of enjoying it
Depth - Christ's love is of profound wisdom which no Human creature can understand.

Each dimension accentuates the inclusivity of Christ's worldwide love, its extension across all ages, its transcendence beyond adversaries, and its profound wisdom.

Beloved, we are to seek a deeper understanding and create space in our heart to accommodate Christ's love in all its dimensions.

In conclusion, let us embrace the love of Christ in all its dimension rather than adhering to worldly customs and traditions.
