Faith Life 58 (The Faith Approach)

 THE FAITH APPROACH

 “By faith, they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned. Hebrews 11:29‬

‬‬

The children have seen the great deliverance from the Judgement, and it was expedient that they continue their approach in faith, having seen the victory of the cross that destroyed sin, principalities, and powers as they put their faith in the Lamb's blood, It was reasonable that they continue by faith.

Beloved, if we started our Christian walk based on faith, it is expedient we continue by Faith. The blood of Jesus did not just cleanse us from sin, but this same blood installed God's life into us.

We have indeed been delivered spiritually from the influence of the world. Although physically, we are still in the world. Therefore, as a result, the world is breathing on us one way or the other. The consequences of the world's unbelief and malady are reaching us every day. So, if we are not approaching life by faith in the Lambs blood, we shall be caught up on the web of the world's syndrome.

So, how do we stay sane?

Looking at the situation where the Children of Israel found themselves at The Red Sea, what could have been the best approach? The only reasonable approach remains faith in the God who delivered them from death in Egypt due to the Passover and brought them out of slavery with his mighty hand.

How will you not rely on the God who delivered you from the judgment of death? How unreasonable have we been? We ought to die eternally, but Jesus came in our stead and paid for our eternal redemption.

What other rationale will dry the Red Sea for six million Jews to pass through? Someone may think technologically and think of constructing bridges to walk across the sea. Then how long Would it have taken them to do the construction? Remember, the Egyptians are already on them.

I am throwing this question to you as well:

How long do you want to approach life carnally, scientifically, or intellectually?

If we start seeing things Spiritually, we will discover that all other rationales are foolishness and stupidity. When we look at where the Event happens in Exodus 14:10-12;

The children of Israel's first response at the Red Sea was panic and fear. These made them cuss at Moses and say words of profanity. You can know if someone has a faith-based relationship with God by what he utters in his mouth. They made statements that contradict their faith and show their unbelief. They already see themselves defeated. Many believers, due to a particular challenge, have already seen their life as a complete disaster and run into depression. Such people begin to transfer aggression and ooze negative emotions. These are signs that a man is not responding to the challenge in faith but in fear and intimidation.

However, if you are already soaked in fear and intimidation, I want you to know that the Holy Spirit has been given to help you if you can open yourself to him and His word; He will sanitize your heart with the water from the word of God and with the lamb's blood.

Finally, I want you to start seeing Jesus. Just think about Him, how He came through for us, paid for our eternal redemption, and gave us the Holy Spirit to bring the reality of our salvation to our physical experience. Excuse me! Who else do you want to trust? What other process do you want to believe? Rely on Christ from start to finish, and it shall be well with you.
