Faith life 53 (The beauty of God's presence)

THE BEAUTY OF GOD'S PRESENCE
“By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.” Hebrews 11:27
It is only by Faith, that is, absolute confidence and reliance on Christ and what he has done, that can make us savor the presence of God. As a believer, the Lord is always with you. That is his eternal promise! Even when you don't feel it, he is right there with you. Although it will take faith for you to be conscious of it and enjoy it (Hebrews 13:5)
Someone once asked me, “Where is God?” My response was, “In him, I move, live and have my being. God is where I am.” These are not just sensual statements or motivational statements, but faith statements. A man will only utter those statements if his focus is on Christ.
Looking again at Moses’ decision, the scripture says, ‘He forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king’. This is precisely what faith does to a man. It makes you forsake worldly pleasure, no matter how appealing to the eyes it may be. Faith itself is a visual organ. Just like the eyes are to the material world, so is faith in God.
Moses' Heart was fortified and emboldened with Faith in God against all fear and threat of Pharaoh. He has no fear of Pharaoh’s rage because he persisted in faith as if he has seen God who is unseen.
Beloved, be sure you are seeing God by faith. Don't assume or pretend as though you are seeing God when you are not. By Faith, Moses saw God be more real than Pharaoh. This must be a position we must long to be in. You might not yet be in this position fully, but I want you to know that the Holy Spirit is at work in you to help you such that God becomes more real to you than yourself.
Was it an easy task to face Pharaoh? No! It was not, but Moses endured because he was so conscious of the invisible God than the visible Pharaoh. God's presence was to Him an actual power on which He could lean, and so He could endure to the end without compromising or giving up despite the hardness of Pharaoh's heart.
Assuming Pharaoh's power was so real to Moses than God's, he won't have confronted Him. But God worked on His heart until he became real to Him, so he could easily defy Pharaoh and all his hosts. Many believers’ vision of God is blurry, just because they have not been fixing their faith in Christ. They evaluate themselves based on some worldly standards and have allowed others to define them rather than receiving a revelation of who they are in Christ. These are the major cause of why we have not been seeing God manifest presence in our lives.
“Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.” Matthew 5:8
The pure heart is the organ through which a man Can see God. To See God means, you experience His manifestation. It also means God's will is done in you and through you, as it is in heaven. Beloved, you can never be able to manifest God with an impure heart. You will not be able to experience and enjoy the beauty of God's person and grace when your heart is impure.
Christ has given you His life. While He was on earth, He lived in complete dominion over all circumstances and extended grace and mercy unto all men. He has now given us the Holy Spirit so that we can live as he lived on earth. We need to start thinking about what is true about us in Christ. This is how we live in purity of heart and experience God's presence.
